When I decided to split up the 'top 10' lists of 2010 I told myself that I wouldn't put the Deftones newest album 'Diamond Eye's' on the list because it deserved its own posting. The newest effort from Deftones and the first released after the accident that bassist Chi Cheng was in that left him in a coma, is by far their best since 'White Pony'. Each song brings something unique to the table blending every element you could possibly imagine into a nearly perfect sonic piece of art. 'Rocket Skates' is easily my favorite song of 2010 and 'Sextape' is very close as well. This is also the most perfectly paced album of the year, one style doesn't out weigh the other. Its truly a treat to listen to and for that reason it gets my best album of 2010 award! If you haven't heard it or don't own it, then do yourself a favor and do!'Beauty School'
