Is it viking metal? I can't really tell. Its got the flavor but it just seems to have more layers and lacks the lyrical content but I could be wrong on that.

This has to be one of the cheapest music videos i have ever seen. Makes me wish it was warm outside again. I think Meshuggah's cheap video for "New Millenium Cyanide Christ" has them beat. Enjoy

Devendra Banhart - Little Yellow Spider

This man has to be on drugs. I really really really have tried to like their music for a couple years now and I always end up playing this damn song. This song is ridiculous. and when i say ridiculous i don't know what i mean... probably just referring to the lyrics... whatever. Can anyone explain Devendra Banhart to me or do i need to just start doing drugs??? I know this isn't the offical video but it's the best i could find. Enjoy.

I feel like this song would be good if the lyrics weren't what the are. I also feel like the is a song Russel Brand would sing in "Get Him to the Greek". I dunno could just be me.  The music is pretty catchy and decent and the guys voice fits the song....maybe they have some other songs that are good?

The Young Veins - Take A Vacation!

ESSENCE - 'Blood Culture' New Video

This songs worth listening to for at least the first minute. The bass line is pretty awesome. Sometimes it refreshing to hear an actual bass player and not just another person who plays guitar have a turn on the bass. The song its self isn't too bad either. Its got an old school trash sound to it that I'm digging.

Young Galaxy - 'We Have Everything' New Video

I stumbled upon this album recently and its not that bad. Its kinda cool to see a video for something that I thought was completely obscure. The new album is called 'Shapeshifting' and it will be released February 8th.

Soulspell SUCK!

This is so sad. I never thought there would be a day when in my METAL feed I would get something that was so  country. It angers me a little. Just because your singer is kinda cute doesn't give you the excuse to make such shit.

James Blake - 'The Wilhelm Scream' New Video

I was really looking forward to James Blakes album and I finally got a hold of it yesterday and I'm less than impressed. Its a huge disappointment for an album that was suppose to be one of the best of the year. This song is still one of my favorites but the issues I have with this song plague the record overall. I may to a review of it but for now just know that its not very good.

R.E.M - 'Mine Smell's Like Honey' New Video

I've been mostly impressed by REM's new material, which is odd because I've never liked their sound and I've always despised the vocals. Every time I hear a song from the new album I'm constantly impressed.

Peaking Lights - 'All the Sun That Shines'

When this song started the first thing I thought of was the a Justin Timberlake song. How sad is that!? I like the song, not sure about the video, seems like its trying really hard to be artsy but that could be the intent.

Altpress premiered this video and I have to say the song is pretty entertaining as well as the video. Interesting band name but that shouldn't hinder me from liking the music. Check the video out below.

The Haunted - 'No Ghost' New Song Live

The Haunted are awesome. rEVOLVEr is one of my favorite albums. This new song preformed live at.... whatever that is. Is pretty damn awesome. I'm looking forward to the new album later this year!

I Am Abomination - 'Since 1776' New Video

Protest the Abomination is what this band should call themselves... I guess that's too much a knock on Protest the Hero though. In all fairness I didn't hate the song. I hated the video. I hate that stupid head bang thing bands do now a days. This bands got some potential though. Drop the pop punk vox and I think it would be something special.

I really fucking hate these symphonic metal bands who have some semi-hot chick singing all operatic, at least in this instance neither of those things are the case. I'll not lie, I used to be into Nightwish but I swear they deserved it back in the day. This stuff is just so dumbed down. So those who like nickelback can like it.

Jonathan Davis posts new material.

Speaking of Korn, looks like Jonathan Davis is finally going to try and branch out into his own works. He posted 3 new songs and all of them are pretty terrible. I guess comparably to Korn they are genius.. but we aren't doing that are we?! The tracks are 'final days', 'happiness'. and 'medicate' all in that order. Enjoy?

Insidead - 'Chaos Elecdead' New Video

I'm not exactly how I'm to pronounce this bands name. I'm guessing its Elect dead.... but its not very clear. There's nothing really special about this song but it rocks pretty hard. Kinda reminds me of Korn.. I'm sure people wouldn't agree but listen to that deep chugging riff.... its got the elements there.
