Its not secret that I've never been a fan of rap music. I feel that sampling is utilized horribly in rap music. I've always had some interest in Lupe Fiasco because he seems to stand out in a genre of imitators and hacks. Having said this, this new video from Fiasco definitely disappoints. I think its cool he used Modest Mouse, Unfortunately it has the same feel that all rap music has today which is like a parody of its self. This is the first video release for Fiasco's up coming LP "Lasers" due out in march.
